Who handles your information
This policy explains how FlatDekh, operated by PRAUGA PRIVATE LIMITED in Bangalore, India, handles information when you use our rental discovery and messaging services. For privacy questions or requests, contact vinit@pvot.tech.
Information you provide
- Account and profile: your name, email address, and phone number if supplied, along with authentication information needed to create and maintain your account.
- Listings: property descriptions, location, rent, amenities, photos, and contact information you choose to include. Listing content and the contact details included in it may be visible to other people using the service. Only share information and photos you have permission to publish.
- Activity and communications: messages, favorites, and information you send when asking for help or reporting a concern. Messages are shared with their intended recipients; favorites support your saved rental choices.
Browser storage and optional location
Essential browser storage supports sign-in sessions and remembers preferences such as your preferred city. Clearing or blocking browser storage may sign you out or reset these preferences.
Device geolocation is optional and requires your browser permission. City matching happens on your device; only the matched city is stored as your preference, not the coordinates. You can select a city manually instead and withdraw location permission through your browser or device settings.
How information is used
We use information to manage accounts and sign-in, publish and manage listings, deliver messages, save favorites, and tailor rental discovery to your selected city. It also helps us provide support, investigate reports and misuse, protect the service, and meet legal obligations. We process information as permitted by applicable law, including with consent where required.
Service providers and sharing
FlatDekh uses Supabase for authentication, database, and file storage infrastructure. These services process the account, listing, photo, and communication data needed to provide those features.
If you choose Google login, Google processes the sign-in and shares account information needed for authentication. Google Fonts and our hosting providers can process technical information, such as IP addresses, browser and device details, and request logs, when delivering the site. Providers may process information outside India according to their infrastructure and applicable requirements.
Information is shared as needed to deliver the service, including with message recipients and people viewing your listings. We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to address fraud, security issues, or threats to the rights and safety of users or others. Be thoughtful about what you share: recipients may keep information you send to them.
Retention and security
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including providing the service, resolving disputes, and meeting legal and security obligations. Retention depends on the information and why it is needed. Some records may need to be retained for legal or security reasons after an account or deletion request is processed.
We use safeguards intended to protect information, but no online service or method of storage can guarantee absolute security. Protect your account credentials and do not send passwords, one-time codes, or unnecessary identity documents in messages or support emails.
Your choices and privacy requests
Email vinit@pvot.tech to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, or to raise a privacy concern. Include the email associated with your account and describe your request without sending sensitive documents unless they are needed and requested securely.
We may need to confirm your identity and clarify the request before acting. Requests are handled subject to applicable law and any records we must retain for legal or security reasons. Where processing relies on consent, you may contact us to withdraw it; this does not affect lawful processing before withdrawal. You may also use any complaint or other rights available under applicable law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the latest revision. Where required, we will provide additional notice or seek consent for relevant changes.
